International Innovation Days 2015 - Forum for networking and sharing know-how.
They are a valuable opportunity, far away from the workaday
life, to get fresh impetus and acquire new technical knowledge, and
therefore have turned into a fixed date in the calendar of the many
international aluplast partners: the aluplast International Innovation
Days | iid2015.
More than 100 customers and partners accepted the invitation to come to the picturesque city of Venice. From 6 to 10 of September, the participants enjoyed five days full of "Design & Tradition, Culture & Emotion", the slogan of this year's International Innovation Days. In addition to two conference days, the varied programme offered plenty of opportunities to discover the Italian culture.
After a warm welcome by aluplast CEO Patrick Seitz, the participants learned about effective strategies on how to stand one's ground in the increasingly tough market. A crucial part of these strategies are the aluplast innovations that were presented by Christian Feldmann, Market Manager Asia, Africa and North America. The dynamism of the aluplast development and their innovations impressed the guests in Venice. The participants of course had the opportunity to examine these innovations "life".
A strong brand is another important factor for succeeding in the
market. The value of a strong brand and the services offered by aluplast
were topics discussed during the second conference day. In addition to
Babak Golriz from Nawa International, Paolo Tosti, General Manager of
Diquigiovanni, a high-performance partner from Italy, gave a talk about
his conception of a strong brand, using his own business as an example.
Established more than 40 years ago, Diquigiovanni today is one of the
leading Italian companies that fabricate and install high-quality doors
and windows.
The following day, the party visited the production site of
Diquigiovanni. Paolo Tosti said it was an honour to "welcome aluplast
and their guests in my production plant and to be part of the Innovation
Days".
In the breaks between the program elements there was plenty of time
for the partners to exchange know-how and get valuable ideas for their
everyday work. "For us, the close contact to our international customers
is extremely important," CEO Patrick Seitz emphasised. "They are the
ones, after all, who make our brand so strong."
Like Germany, Italy stands for well-established high-quality brands, for
example in the car industry. Consequently, the participants were
invited to discover a world-renowned brand: Ferrari in Maranello.
Of course, the programme item "Culture and Emotion" was not given short
shrift. During their visit to Venice, the partners had the opportunity
to explore the lagoon city and let the city's special flair work its
magic.
The participants were accomodated in the romantic and fabulous hotel Relais Monaco, in a Venetian villa of the 1800s.
Christian Feldmann was extremely satisfied with the International Innovation Days.
"The intentionally heterogeneous background of our partners and their
strong interest in exchanging views and ideas make our International
Innovation Days so very successful. Italy was an outstanding backdrop to
appreciate tradition, but also to discuss new ideas and innovations,
and to take part in the numerous experiences of our partners."
