Valuable exchange of knowledge and new ideas - aluplast innovation days 2018

[Press release] After visits to the Middle East, Central America, Asia, India and Africa, this year our International Innovation Days were again held in Europe.
Our colleagues in Cardiff, Great Britain, met with fabricators and aluplast partners from all over the world from 1st to 3rd October 2018 to give them a look at the casement window system, its design and production through to its sales perspective.
The event began with a conference day. After a warm welcome from CMO Patrick Seitz Babak Golriz, Market Manager for Africa, Middle East, Asia and Australia, shared his thoughts on how to be an innovation leader. Further lectures gave insights into the development of the machinery industry, property development in Great Britain and in marketing strategies for growing companies.
Bob Burnett from New
Zealand gave a particularly interesting lecture in which he described as an
architect his view on windows as an element and how he includes windows in his
drafts and plans.
New products
presented on this day included a smart-slide sliding door with woodec surface,
an Ideal 4000 casement french opening door, an Ideal 4000 casement french
opening window and an Ideal 4000 window single sash with fixed field.
The evening ended
with the aluplast Project Awards ceremony and a gala dinner.
Practice was the focus of the second day. At Glazmorgan Glazing, the participants were not only able to visit the window production department but also learned about the manufacture of window panes. The visitors found ample opportunity to talk to each other, exchange knowledge and hear new ideas that they can implement in their daily routines.
Patrick Seitz appears content: "Close contact to our international customers is extremely important, they make aluplast what we are. We have these International Innovation Days in order to regularly exchange ideas and hear about what customers have in the pipeline."
